DVA Claim Work

The Veteran Service Officers (VSO) for the VACWC are accredited with the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO). Our VSO’s have the ability to assist our veterans with Disability, Pension, Special Monthly Compensation, VA Healthcare Registration, and educational benefit applications.

The VACWC service officers are held to the highest standard in Illinois. Each year we must attend Department of Veteran Affairs accredited Continuing Education Units in order to maintain our National Certification to file DVA benefit paperwork.

Between 2015-2017, the VACWC veteran service officers were successful at obtaining over $7.6 Million dollars in federal benefits to veterans in our area.
